Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of Binance, announced on March 28, 2025, that all fees collected will either be donated to charitable causes or reinvested in the BNB Smart Chain. This initiative raises questions about accessibility and the monetization of exchanges in the Web3 ecosystem.
